I glanced toward the classroom entrance. I wondered why Kuonji was in a hurry to hide, but her blonde hair was not fully hidden; she was being extremely obvious about what she was doing.

After an uneventful morning of classes (though I was still avoided during the small breaks between classes), it was time for lunch.

I was about to head to Ryūya and Neika, who were waiting for me in the hallway.

Something hit me in the head. A crumpled piece of paper…which didn’t look like trash…could it be bullying? 

I looked around and didn’t see anyone who looked like they threw it. Who did it?

“Meeting in front of the Rooftop”

It was written in lovely round letters. The sender was…well, it must be that girl.

“Sorry, you two. You go on ahead.”

“Huh? Going somewhere first, Akito?

“Yeah, I need to go.”

“Hmm~:

“Akki, we’ll wait for you in the cafeteria, all right?”

The two of them saw me off, and then I headed to the designated secret place.

When I got there, I couldn’t hear the bustle from below, even though it was lunchtime. It was completely silent.

At the top of the stairs, Kuonji was sitting on one of the steps. Her head was resting on her knees, so her face was hidden.

However, Kuonji didn’t raise her face even though I arrived…Don’t tell me, did she really not notice me at all?
