“Uoooh!”
I charged at them.
To Suzuno.
To save her.
It might be useless and we’d be doomed to the same ending.
I might die.

I wanted to save her!
The sound of a horn echoed through the air.
Ah, the truck had arrived.
I guess my time was over…
“Oi, you guys!”
An unexpectedly familiar voice echoed.
‘This voice?! No way!’
I looked toward the street. What was there wasn’t a truck, but a familiar figure.
Just by looking at his face made me almost cry.
“What are you doing to my son!”
‘Dad…’
The entrance to the parking lot was blocked by the Yamaoka family’s car. My father jumped out of the driver seat and rushed in our direction.
A golf putter was in his hand, his face was red in anger as he glared at the men surrounding us.
And behind him…
“I’ve taken pictures of each of your faces.”
Was Kento, holding up his phone.
The tears I had been trying to hold back overflowed from my eyes.
‘They came…’
Father and Kento…
In front of the men, Kento put his phone in his ear.
“Hello, police? This is Yamaoka who called in a few minutes ago. I’ve found the location of the assailants. They’re in Komazawa Park…”
“Oi, this is bad…”
The fat man moved first. He got scared and hurriedly went to the minivan. The bearded man, however, jumped out of the driver seat.
“The exit is blocked! I can’t get the car out!”
Taking his voice as a cue, the rest of the guys scattered and ran away. Some ran toward the direction of the park, others went to the street. The art student clicked his tongue and disappeared into the darkness of the park.
“Dumba**es, their car is still here, the police can still identify them.”
Kento snickered as he made a gut pose.
Suzuno and Momo-chan, sat on the ground, breathing heavily.
“W-We’re saved…”
Suzuno muttered.
I was startled by her voice.
No, we weren’t saved yet!
Another horn echoed through the air.
The truck finally came! I had to get everyone to safety!
