“Suzuno!”

I shouted. Hearing my voice, Suzuno’s and Momo-chan’s eyes widened. They were in the same situation as last time, being surrounded by a bunch of men with knives.

“Huh? Who the hell are you?”

The one who said that was the same blonde fat guy with shades.

“I’m Suzuno’s boyfriend! I’ve already called the police, so you guys better put down your knives and get away from here quickly!”

They looked at me with weird looks. Then, the art student asked Momo-chan.

“Momo-chan, did you call this guy?”

“She didn’t! I came from the future, so I already know what’s going to happen!”

I was desperate. I had to do something different than what I did last time.

“What? The future? Is your head okay?”

The fat man said that.

“The whole thing about the police is most likely a bluff. He just got here, no way he’s able to call them that quickly.”

I was bluffing last time, but this time, I wasn’t. Nevertheless, the men were unfazed. A short honk echoed and the bearded man came out of the minivan.

“Oi, get the girls into the car quickly. Just beat up the shorty and shut him up.”

Oh no, things were progressing the same way as before.

“Look, boy, if you try to get in our way, we’ll have to remove you by force.”

The art student was still talking in that ‘gracious’ manner.

“Just tell him that you want to f**k the girl.”

“I hate saying those kinds of vulgar words.”

That vulgar exchange; nothing changed from last time.

The punch to the gut that I received also didn’t change.

“Ugh…”

In the face of his fist, my body started to tremble again. I already knew that he’d hit me, but my fear came back to haunt me again as my body began to stiffened.

No, I can’t give up here.

I clenched my teeth.

I violently bobbed my head downward.

He wasn’t my mother. There was no need to be afraid.

I clenched my fists.

And charged at him.

“T-This guy?!”

I dodged his fist, but he still landed a kick.

But, I was still okay! I could still move!

I managed to dodge the punch that landed right onto my face last time. I twisted my toe a little, but that wasn’t enough to make me fall.

I can do it! I can change the future!
