I agree with people saying he can Seen creepy. Especially from an outsider’s perspective and because he presses her to give an answer. I can understand though why he acted like this since he thinks this is all a dream, so he probably thought ‘it is my fantasy so i can go all out’. If he realized immediately the truth he probably would have used more tact and not rushing everything. At the end to him this is like a game: you can mess up as you want because you can still reload save files. Looking forwards to when he realises the truth. Also if author plays their card right they could make a good story: MC loves Sei more like some idolised figure (he calls her a Saint so it is obvious) and so it is a very parasocial kind of love, so it could also be a story of him learning to love her for the person she is and not treating her just as a “waifu”.
