On top of the pile of rubble, a young man was alone, looking up at the sky.

The sky was infinite and endlessly blue.

The red-haired boy never got tired of staring at it.

Eventually, a voice called out from behind his back.

“You’re looking at the sky again. You must really like the sky, huh?”

It was a hoarse, old man’s voice.

The boy replied to the voice without looking back, eyes still set on the sky.

“I’m not looking because I like it.”

“Is that so? Then, what are you looking at the sky for?”

“It’s obvious. One day…”

A moment later, a shadow enveloped the boy.

Something huge was floating across the sky, covering the sun in the process.

The boy muttered as he looked up at the huge object that was flying like a cloud far above them.

“—One day, I will return.”

Above him, an island in the sky… the “Fractal” was flying silently.
