Prove Your Eternal Love. There Shall Be No Heroine Correction. - Afterword
Nice to meet you. My name is Katsubi Kshow.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this story. Eh? Are you a person who reads the afterword? I see. Anyway, thank you for reading my writing. I look forward to working with you on the main story!
Well, it’s been ten years since I had a vague idea that I wanted to work at creating something! That was when I realized that I really liked the idea of having someone enjoy what I had created. I was a high school student at the time, and I had been writing novels for about two years. At that time, I never dreamed that I would be rubbing my eyes sleepily and frantically writing a novel like this in the future.
However, I never applied for any awards after that. I ended up finding a job that had nothing to do with creative writing, and I quit creative writing as well. However, one day I suddenly decided to “mourn the dream that I never even tried to pursue at that time,” and three years ago I entered a newcomer’s award for the first and last time. Thankfully, I received a favorable critique, so I thought, “I’ll try a little harder,” and continued writing, and here I am.
This story is based on the idea that “it would be interesting to combine an ability battle with a romantic comedy,” and I just let my writing flow, and eventually it began to take on a grand theme. It was a story that I had written in a light-hearted mood, but thanks to the precise guidance of the editor in charge, I think I was able to finish it properly.
Now, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude.
First of all, I would like to thank the four judges, the members of the editorial department, and everyone involved in the selection process for the 17th Newcomer’s Award. Thank you very much.
And to the editor in charge. Thank you for always gently guiding me, the tiny one. I am really counting on you. I look forward to working with you again in the future.
Misumi-sama, who is in charge of illustrations. Every time I received a wonderful illustration, I was in agony and savored my happiness. At the same time, I was inspired to revise the text, saying, “I’m going to make the text as cute as the illustrations!” Thank you very much!
I would also like to thank all the people who were involved in the publication and sales of this book. To my friends and colleagues who supported me. And to all the people who worked with me on creative projects in junior high, high school, college, or through the Internet. Especially N-kun and Y-kun, who kept praising and developing me to become who I am today. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to my family for their support.
So I hope to see you again in front of the paper (screen) or in the afterwords!
