Please Tell Me How to Remember Love - Afterwords
Afterwords
Thank you for picking up this book, my name is Fuyusaka Usetsu.
First of all, I want to thank everyone involved in the creation of this book.
Thank you kappe-sama for your wonderful illustrations. You managed to capture the beauty and the fragility of Reina perfectly, it’s amazing.
To the editors in charge, thank you for your help. I know I caused you a lot of trouble. Thank you to everyone involved in publishing this book. Thanks to all of you, the second volume of this book could be published.
Finally, to everyone who has read the book up to this point, thank you. It’s because of you readers that this book could be called ‘story.’
Alright, I can just end the afterwords like this, but there are some points in the book that I want to point out.
This time, the theme is about ‘farewell.’ Everyone, have you ever said goodbye to someone? Well, if you’ve lived long enough, like me, you would have done it quite a fair amount of times. However, I have to admit that beautiful goodbyes like in dramas just don’t exist.
Sometimes, the last thing you’re doing before saying your goodbyes is just idly chatting and you end with a ‘See you later,’ instead of ‘Goodbye.’ There isn’t much opportunity to say ‘Goodbye’ to someone. Then again, it’s just appropriate. If every parting ended with a ‘Goodbye,’ then every parting would feel like a sad story.
With such sentiments in mind, I wrote this book. I had an ice cream for the first time in a while when I finished writing. The cold, sweet taste, the nostalgic scent of vanilla, the coldness I felt in my stomach and the sensation I felt when I ran to the toilet. I remembered every single moment of them. Come to think of it, I like ice cream, but I always get an upset stomach whenever I eat something cold. It’s been so long since I experienced it, so I forgot about it. Next time, I’ll eat them in summer as a revenge, just wait!
Anyway, once again, thank you to everyone who has read this far.
I hope we’ll be able to meet again if there’s a chance.
T/N: Alright, finally caught up, that’s the latest volume. I don’t know when is the next volume going to be released, so it’ll be a ‘see you later’ for this series for now. Thank you everyone for reading the series so far! I’ll be continuing Oresuki again after this, so look forward to that if you’re reading that series! Anyway, see you later!
