It’s the week after I got tangled up with the well-known Takanishi sisters. On Monday morning, I had arrived with my mind prepared for the unavoidable questioning. However, the atmosphere was so normal that it was hard to believe.
When mobs like me saw the two sisters standing side by side, I wondered if there would be any more strange understandings due to the gap between me and the Takanishi sisters.
Or maybe everyone was too busy worrying about the test return today.
When I mentioned my thought process to Akito, he replied in disgust.

I thought for a while when Akito said that. He’s popular. He lives a unique life, though a little out of the center of the class that contains Aisa and the other popular kids, but that’s not exactly a bad thing.

Then he plopped down in his seat as usual.

“Add the scores from all five subjects. The loser owes the winner one request.”
“As long as the request isn’t too much.”
“All right, let’s go.”
Akito and I were not that far apart in our original grades. Considering my confidence this time, well, it’s not a bad bet.
And more importantly, we have a type of friendship that allows us to hang out with each other as much as we want. If one wins, he can have the other buy him a drink, and if one loses, he won’t lose that much.
However, I’m more worried about Manami’s result and my competition with Aisa than anything else.
