After leaving the shopping mall, we got into a luggage-filled car and drove along the beach.

The smell of the tide fills our nostrils. We can hear the sound of the tide. The background music in the car was Eri-san’s choice of Southern’s WE TUBE. (TLN: I think Southern could be the JP Artist “Southern All Stars” here is their YouTube Channel. WE TUBE, is probably the ripoff name for YouTube maybe lmao)

On the way, I saw a group of people swimming by the beach, but the car kept going in the direction of no houses.(Ed: The original phrasing apparently is “on the beach” but I do not believe that is what was probably meant…just think about what swimming on the beach means)

The sea. The ocean is waiting for us. I couldn’t stop my excitement.

“─This is our villa.”

The car came to a stop.

The first person to get out of the backseat to show us around was Shirokusa, who was trying not to be pompous, but rather casually asked, “How is it?” She pointed her hand at the towering villa.

“Oi oi oi oi oi oi.”

“Calm down, Sueharu.”

“Oi oi oi oi, there’s no way I can calm down!”

I was well aware of the fact that Shirokusa was rich. Soichiro-san is the president of a big company that sponsors dramas.

But when I saw such exquisite scenery used for filming, I couldn’t calm down.

The emerald green sea stretches to the end of the horizon.

There is a large villa that looks like half of it is on the sea.

“The common people are weak against big things.” (ED: “big things” a bit vague, probably referring to “big signs” of the rich’s belongings like the villa)

“Tetsu-senpai, please don’t make fun of me. I may be a mere citizen, but I haven’t given up my pride!”

“Can you guys please choose your words a little more carefully?”

I didn’t dig into it deeper, I heard everything anyway!

“Especially Reina! You’re totally mocking me!”

“To tell you the truth…I am making fun of you.”

“Don’t think you’ll get a pass if you’re honest with me.”

I gripped her temples with my fists. Then, Reina said, “Paisen’s going rampage~” “I’m against bullying juniors~”. What the hell are these two saying, anyways I’m going to ignore their protests!

Tetsuhiko and Reina perfectly fit for one another. Yet, I don’t smell any romance coming from them at all.

The more I get to know Tetsuhiko, the stranger their relationship seems to be so.

Well, I guess he does have juniors that he adores, regardless of love.

“Shirokusa-chan, unlock the door! Also, grab your stuff everyone! Especially the boys!”

Eri-san gave the orders quickly. If it’s an order from the leader, even Tetsuhiko can’t resist.

With Shirokusa leading, each of us carried our own luggages and made our way into the villa.

“Wow! This is great!”

As I walked straight through the front door, I found myself in a 20-tatami sized living room, where the ocean view suddenly spread out. Most of the partition between the living room and the terrace is made of glass, and the frame is minimized so as not to disturb the spectacular view.

As I stepped out onto the terrace, I was surprised to find that the place was much higher than I expected.

Even though I had entered through the front door, this was the second floor. Perhaps this seemed to be the way how it was built.

I looked to my right and saw a view of the private beach. There were stairs leading down from the terrace to the sandy beach.

The view and the structure of the house would not be like this for an ordinary rich person.

What luxury! Truly a paradise! I can’t believe we’re staying here for two nights─!

“Ya-hooo~!”

The resort was far more than I had imagined, and my tension was rising, whether I wanted it to or not.

Also, It seemed that I wasn’t the only one feeling so.

When I turned to look at who made the sexy comment, there was Eri-san taking a beer out of a plastic bag and started gulping it down…

While Tetsuhiko shrugged his shoulders and rifled through the kitchen, Shirokusa turned on the air conditioner.

“There are five bedrooms with two beds each. As for how the rooms will be divided─”

“One room for Momo and Sueharu-niichan.”

The words were said so casually made the time stop in its tracks.

“Maria, you’ve done it now!”

Eri-san gave a thumbs up and cheered.

“Yes, Momosaka-san and her older sister will share a room─”

“By the way, the bathhouse is on the third floor. The terrace has a nice view, and if you want to see the stars, you’ll have a better time there.”

I came up with a good idea, so I clapped my hands and suggested it.

“Shiro, I have a great idea. Let’s all put on our swimsuits and take a bath together─”

“Oi, do you really think I’m going to let you do that? Hey, Su-chan? Do you think I’ll really forgive you for that? Hey?” (Ed: I’m surprised Shirokusa wasn’t on board with that idea)

If someone asks you a question with a look as if they’re looking at garbage, you have no choice but to apologize, right?

I wonder why Tetsuhiko isn’t afraid of this. Normally, you’d freeze to death with this kind of stare, you know? (Ed: he’s probably used to it from on because he’s treated like trash by the rest of the school)

“Ahh, this feels really amazing.”

I leaned against the wooden railing surrounding the terrace, arms outstretched to catch the sea breeze with all my might.

Leaning over the railing, I looked down to see the ocean directly below. I guess you could say it’s because half of the villa is overhanging the ocean.

Tetsuhiko came up beside me and just like me, poked his head over the railing to observe the spectacular view.

“Oi, Kachi. Is it possible to jump from here?”

“Yes. I’ve heard that the terrace overhangs the sea because half for the scenery and half so that people can jump in and have fun.”

“Okay, I understand. Hey Sueharu.”

“What is it, Tetsuhiko?”

He pushed me in the back.

“Tetsuhiko…”

Tetsuhiko, who was surprisingly sincere, had caught me off guard and I listened to his words.
