“―Heya, welcome back, you two.”
When Yō and Marin returned, Nagisa greeted them with a smile.
Next to her was Kasumi, her cheeks puffed out and sulking.
Tears were welling up in her eyes.
“What happened while we were gone…?”
“Haha, nothing.”
Nagisa smiled and tried to cover it up when Yō asked her, but Kasumi took advantage of the opportunity and rushed over to Yō.
“Nagisa bullied me…! She hit me on the head…!”
Apparently, the reason Kasumi was in tears was because Nagisa had hit her.
As a result, Nagisa spoke up in frustration.
“What are you talking about? That was just a pat on the head.”
“That’s a lie! It hurts like hell!”
“I must’ve hit you in a bad spot, I’m sorry about that.”
“You did it on purpose…!”
Nagisa cowered her shoulders deliberately and Kasumi glared at her with tearful eyes.
The atmosphere was completely sour.
“Why is it that as soon as I take my eyes off of you two, you guys immediately start fighting…?”
Watching the two― or rather, the three of them, who start problems as soon as you take your eyes off of them, Yō let out a sigh.
It felt as if he was taking care of a young child or a pet.
If anything, Nya~san would be less of a handful.
Tired as he is, Yō puts his hand on Kasumi’s head, who is sulking with tears in her eyes.
“Is everything alright?”
“Ah…mhm.”
When he slowly stroked her head, Kasumi’s eyes narrowed happily.
Her body relaxes and she hugs Yō, whether intentionally or not, is unclear.
Yō did not seem bothered by this, but Marin turned a disapproving eye on Yō.
Marin’s eyes were not bothering Yō, but Yō pretended not to notice her glare, and looked at Nagisa instead.
“I know you were trying to keep Kasumi in line, but no violence, okay?”
“Yeah, yeah. I know. Seriously, Kasumi-chan will cry to Yō-kun in a heartbeat.”
Nagisa looked at Kasumi in frustration, but Kasumi was totally focused on being patted by Yō, so they didn’t fight.
“I have been thinking about it more, and I came up with something that would get a lot of views and would also be appropriate for the two of you.”
When Yō said this, Nagisa and Marin looked up at him in surprise.
As for Kasumi, she did not seem to be listening to what Yō was saying and was still focused on being patted on the head.
“I’m surprised you were able to think under those circumstances. So, what are your plans?”
Nagisa looked at Yō with a smile on her face, as if the sulking she had just done was a lie.
“Err, how about dancing?”
“Dancing? Not singing?”
“No, I’d prefer singing if possible, but Kasumi wants to keep her voice to herself.”
He had suggested singing when Kasumi was doing a subchannel before, but Kasumi didn’t want to do it that time.
So this time, Yō suggested dancing.
“Hmm… Well, sure, they’re both cute and will be popular, but considering the time it takes to practice and all, will they be able to put up a video?”
Apparently, Nagisa seemed to have some reservations about Yō’s suggestion.
However, from Yō’s point of view, it makes sense that it would take so much time to make a video and upload them regularly.
“It can’t be helped. Besides, it shouldn’t be a problem if we don’t upload often at the start.”
“Well, you have a point… but aren’t you deliberately choosing to spend a lot of time…?”
Nagisa was smart and good at seeing through other people’s intentions, so she easily noticed Yō’s intentions.
So she’s giving him a skeptical look.
“That’s not true. It’s all about growth and looking good on video.”
“Then I’ll say one more thing. Isn’t this too much in Kasumi-chan’s favor? Kasumi-chan, you are good at dancing and singing, aren’t you?”
Nagisa was unaware of Marin’s abilities, but she knew Kasumi well enough to know her abilities since they had known each other for quite a while.
While she was talking, Yō had stopped patting Kasumi on the head, and Kasumi, who was listening to the conversation, opened her mouth with a smug look on her face.
“I’ve mastered cooking, singing, dancing, and pretty much everything else to get Yō off my back.”
Apparently, the basis of all of Kasumi’s efforts is her desire to be liked by Yō.

Translator’s Afterword: From now on, the “opened his/her mouth” thing that’s so apparent in my translations is now being changed. Most of my translations before were literally almost 1:1 in terms of translation. In other words, it’s directly what it means.
Starting now, I’m going to try and make it seem more like they’re real people talking to one another (like how a conversation irl normally goes) and stuff. I hope you guys don’t mind the small changes I’m making. I think this’ll be better for us all in the long run and it’s probably much more human-like to read.
Also, I hope you guys enjoy your holidays and have a happy new year that is to come. This is currently the latest chapter for this series which was released almost 3 months ago. To this day, there have not been any further updates by the author.
I am also updating some other of my series as a Christmas bonus, please look forward to it until the end of the year! As always, I appreciate all the support you guys give to my translations and I’m hoping you guys would still continue to do so. Have a Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays everyone!
