Shuraba is all around

“Well, it looks like you had a tough morning. You’ve faced hellish circumstances while going to school, similar to those of Chinese students.”

“You don’t actually mean that, do you! I mean, who the hell are you talking about? Though it was definitely hellish, it’s not the same thing. Maybe.”

I sat down in my seat, exhausted as if I had just run a marathon. Today, Keru and Otoha, the divine couple, seem to still be getting along great. That’s the way youth should be.

As time went by, my mind drifted away from that terrible incident in the morning. By the time I got to school, there were no longer people buzzing around me.

However, there were times when Shirahata-san and Karen would get into a dispute, making the walk very difficult. I could only act as a spectator, confused by their arguing.

The only thing I’ve learned from today’s incident is that I shouldn’t let the three of them be with each other. They shouldn’t mix; it’s dangerous.

“But that’s okay. It’s not a frequent thing. It’s not every day you get to be surrounded by three beautiful girls. I’m pretty jealous of you.”

“…jealous?”

“Of course. Since it’s so rare, I would take your spot if I could…”

Keru seemed to notice the gaze of his nearby cute little girlfriend. At this point, she could no longer hide a terrifying aura within her kindness. Her face seemed to scream a heartfelt “Wow”.

Don’t be so insensitive.

“Hmmm… well, if Keru wants to, why don’t you just act together with Ritsu-kun? You might feel like you’re surrounded by three beautiful girls, even if it’s fake. Hmm? What do you think?”

Crap. It’s not a good idea to make Otoha angry.

“…I’m sorry. Really, I’m sorry. It was seriously just a joke…”

“…Well, it’s okay. I don’t mind it.”

“T-That’s such an obvious lie…”

“I said I don’t mind. It’s natural for boys. Of course you’d be interested in beautiful girls. Compared to me, Karen and the others are more lovely, showy, and cute.”

I-I guess shuraba is all around me…

I caught a glimpse of the scary side of Otoha. That aura was in full swing.

Definitely shouldn’t offend women… Hahaha…

“I-I think Otoha is the cutest!”

“…Yes, yes.”

“Don’t brush me off like you’re twisting the hand of a baby! I really mean it!”

“…It’s okay. I’m not really angry. I know that Keru is always looking out for me.”

Keru then took Otoha’s hand with shining, lustrous eyes.

“Otoha. Thank you… thank you!”

And so, the shuraba comes to an end.

If one looked at the sequence of events, it wasn’t just pure flirting. Shuraba is hard. I understood that, and so, I had hoped that it would somehow come to an end like this.

Though, I don’t know why I’m still in a state of shock over the three of them. They are all very important to me.

Shirahata-san is still new to me, but I have a feeling that I will be increasingly involved with her in the future.

One can have as many friendships as one likes. That’s why, I’d really like the three of them to get to know each other… Really (earnest wish)

I began to feel that way after observing the two in front of me.

Was there anything I could do? The world was not as easy as I thought it was, though.

I was only seventeen years old.

Suddenly, the phone in my pocket beeped.

I looked at it and saw that I had received a text message from Shirahata-san.

[I’m sorry for the sudden text. I asked earlier, are you free after school today?]

T-That reminds me, she did indeed ask that…

However, there was no particular reason to refuse, especially since I had promised to teach her about love.

[I’m free.]

With that in mind, I replied to Shirahata-san that I was available.

Then, she sent me a sticker with a smiling face.

Actually, I-I almost fell in love with her if I didn’t know about her… disappointment… Dangerous, dangerous.

I was the one who stepped up.
