Convention - Ch. 6 The Demon In The Heart
The further north you are, the more monotonous the colors are.
But sometimes monotonous colors can make up a stunning view.
Mo ShiXin’s bed faces the panoramic window, and every day when she wakes up, the first thing she sees is the crystal clear glacier behind the glass, under which the waves are churning and pushing the floating ices against each other.
She straightened up and rubbed her aching shoulders and back. The bed here was still too soft, it was very uncomfortable, all students in the research team have standard supplies, but also fortunately she was usually busy with work, and not often sleep on this bed.
It’s been almost half a year since she came to the research team, and she’s spent only a few nights in her room, most of the time she spent the night in the lab with her mentor.
Mo ShiXin lifted the covers and got out of bed. It was only then that she noticed that she had gotten into bed in her white coat, which was covered with oil and dust, and she frowned, thinking that maybe she really shouldn’t have come to this place.
She hadn’t had a bath in a long time, and she smelled bad. It was her first time out of town, and she still wouldn’t take care of herself properly, and dirty clothes were piling up all over the room.
Mo ShiXin sat by the window, at this time she missed the warmth of home immensely.
“If only I had listened to my father, I wouldn’t have to suffer here.” She couldn’t help but think this way.
Six months ago, Mo ShiXin was selected by her mentor to join the Hermann family’s scientific research team in Iceland. It was a large-scale scientific research project that used almost all of the Dunkeld family’s financial resources, and the leader was the current GST CEO, Herman Joseph Dunkeld.
His purpose is to explore the available energy under the Icelandic waters, more than a decade ago they discovered an energy source called mineral ice, but caused a terrible plague, the previous executive resigned. So this expedition was a very risky move in the eyes of many, a risk that included Herman’s political future.
As every all know, the GST group after years of development has long not been that simple research institution, the group is rich, and also has a lot of say in the political arena. Of course, there is no shortage of obstinate people in the group — such as Mo HeSheng.
Mo HeSheng strongly opposed ShiXin’s participation in this research team because ‘it’s useless’.
In his opinion, it was just a ‘show’ by the Dunkeld family. Herman said he wanted to build the world’s largest CPU underwater in Iceland and document the entire project process. Mo HeSheng, of course, was not a fan of this, and he was ready to have ShiXin decline the invitation on the grounds of ill health, but Chen Yang persuaded him.
“…… ShiXin is only 18 years old, and she is at the top of Dunkeld’s class. If she drops out at this time, it will not only delay her future, but it will give others unrelated associations. Everyone knows that you have a problem with Herman, you can’t be so selfish, ShiXin has a bright future, she is perfectly capable of becoming an excellent researcher.”
Chen Yang repeated this paragraph all night long, and later on, it all turned out to be repeating the same thing, which made Mo HeSheng agree to this matter. But Mo HeSheng understands in his heart that ShiXin has come to this point is already the limit, no matter how clever memory palace is, it is only a mnemonic method. Relying on this alone, she will not go far.
The teachers in the class had a consensus that ShiXin was hardworking, but not smart. And her mind has begun to appear a little problem, the usual puberty began to manifest in her, she became sentimental, no longer as happy to communicate, which is not wrong, but as the doctor said, she is a good child, but definitely not suitable for the group.
Mo HeSheng relieved himself that after she returned from the science expedition this time, Shixin would probably be placed elsewhere.
The bathtub has not been used for a long time and has not been cleaned, accumulating a thin layer of dust. Because of the secrecy of this project, so the whole project had a lot of scientists involved, but other aspects of the participants are very few, like cooks, cleaners, and the like.
Mo ShiXin let go of the hot water, watching the thin layer of dust floating on the porcelain white bathtub, and then along the overflowing hot water fell to the tiles, until the entire bathroom flooded with steam. The original murky water looks clear, she stretched out a foot into the bathtub, the slender and white thighs, after touching the hot water, immediately flushed with red tide, hot water vapor rose upward, and her s face enveloped in clouds of mist.
“It’s so comfortable ……” she sighed softly.
Normally, an early morning bath is supposed to refresh the mind. But for Mo ShiXin, this act instead of refreshing the mind, which was already used to being awake, feels sleepy.
The boiling hot water brushed against her shoulders with a subtle stimulation, and she slowly shrank downward, becoming more and more absorbed. Her brain needed rest so badly, because ‘library’ inside her head was getting bigger and bigger, with more and more books packed in, and it was putting a huge physical burden on her.
Bathing, like eating and sleeping, was indeed one of life’s great pleasures. And already unable to feel pleasure from the latter two, she finally had to seek solace in this one act. It is said that Napoleon in the late years of his reign, the only way to reduce stress is to take a bath, and the longer he ruled, the longer he took a bath, and the higher the temperature of the water.
Because of the need to save space, the bathtubs on the ship were made into very deep tubes, and she was tempted to sink under the water on this and let the hot water stimulate her whole body. But the slowly shrinking head finally instinctively stopped at the surface of the overflowing tub.
Only half of her face remained above the water, and she liked this rather eerie position, like a crocodile lurking underwater, a pose that represents warning and defense, usually a sign of an amphibian ready to hunt. It was the only time she could have a small moment to think about something other than scientific research.
This is the tender age when 18-year-olds usually spend a youthful time, but she is left to fantasize about her future in a small bathtub.
‘Pleasure itself is something that creates dependency.’
This is one of the lessons she learns from Napoleon’s failure. Although there are a variety of objective factors that contributed to Napoleon’s failure, the so-called decompression, relaxation, are actually just an escape, only more accepted by people. So she has been trying to make sure that she does not fall into this self-pity and legal anesthetic of the weak — she will never indulge.
The pressure that her father put on Mo ShiXin was too much, not in the form of duck tutoring or harsh scolding, but in the form of emotional pressure. Her father is getting older every day, his health is not as good as before, since the abolition of the astronomy department, he spent the whole day drinking, Uncle Chen couldn’t persuade him, also from this time onwards, heavy academic research and the state of her father cause them to communicate less and less, she does not know why, since the loss of her mother, Mo ShiXin does not have any concept of the temperature of affection. She tried to tell herself that her father was not aware of this and that she herself was too sensitive.
“Maybe, if mom is still around, someone will care for father.” Mo Shixin said to herself.
Every time she bathes, Mo ShiXin unconsciously thinks of her unseen mother, she likes to stroke her white skin and look at her own face reflected in the water, she imagines her mother’s appearance, will look similar to herself.
She thought nonsense if only she had not been born in the Group, Mo ShiXin once asked her Uncle Chen why her father did not choose to leave the Group, although the GST Group is a leader in the field of scientific research, but leaving is at least a smart choice, some regions and countries can provide her father with the resources he wanted, although not much, but better than being angry in the Group.
And Chen Yang’s answer to her was ‘I don’t know, maybe the food in the group is good’, Mo ShiXin felt that her father must have been reluctant to leave the group because of herself, he hoped that his daughter could make a difference and go on to finish his unfinished business.
“Alas, how do all the girls out there live?” This was the difficult question in Mo ShiXin’s mind.
After coming out of the bath, she opened her closet and changed into new underwear, then stuffed all the clothes on the floor into the washing machine and thinned out most of the bucket of laundry detergent. She selected the mode and pressed the start button, then suddenly remembered that although she had extra underwear and shirts, she had no change of white coat. She had to stop the washing machine and drag out the coat, which was only one-third soaked.
She stared at the crumpled, wet, dirty clothes for a moment, hesitating because she could not enter the lab without a white coat, a rule established by Herman himself.
While she was hesitating with her clothes, a head poked in through the door. This head has a pair of turquoise almond eyes, with a slightly straight nose, only a few light wrinkles on its forty-something cheeks, but has significant bags under the eyes, brown hair twisted haphazardly into a ponytail, hanging down on the shoulders.
“Hey, Little Mo, what are you doing.”
Seeing this head, Mo ShiXin couldn’t help but hold her forehead. This woman named Lanna Ginsberg never seemed to have a concept of privacy, always casually walking into other people’s rooms without even knocking on the door. She had an extraordinary relationship with Mo ShiXin, since Mo ShiXin became a graduate student, Lanna was her academic advisor, and this somewhat eccentric woman was also one of the security supervisors of the whole scientific research team and the command director of the experiment site, her iris had the authority to enter any room, except Herman’s.
“You enter random people’s rooms again …… because of you, I have a very bad feeling about fascists, and you’ve shown me that giving someone too much power is a very stupid thing indeed.”
“Hey, how can you say that?”
Lanna said as she pushed open the door to the room and walked in, shrugged, and gave Mo ShiXin a hug.
She was wearing a heavy hiking suit that was blue and white, the two base colors of the David Shield and the woman’s favorite color.
“Isn’t there such a proverb among your people? Once a teacher, always a father, what’s wrong with parents coming to their children’s rooms to see their cute kids?”
Lanna was very fond of calling herself Mo Shixin’s mother, in fact, as long as you were younger than her, she wanted you to call her mother.
In this regard, Mo ShiXin initially resisted somewhat, because sometimes she imagined that her into decadent and bad-tempered widower father might be embarrassed if by some chance he united with this over-energetic and gentle widowed ‘mother’. Of course, it would be fun to do just that …… except that it’s unlikely to happen, the two work together only for work, and Jews don’t intermarry with outsiders.
“In the internet culture of the last century, such a move on your part would be considered an insult and subject to a beating, my mother.”
Mo ShiXin deliberately said the word mother very heavily, then smiled and rolled the dirty, watery, wet clothes in hand and threw them back into the washing machine.
“Then what did you come to see me for? The entire staff is on vacation for two days is the oracle you gave, but do not say that now I have to go to overtime.”
Said, Mo ShiXin smiled, she actually still likes to work overtime, she thinks she is not a workaholic, just, overtime can let her find the …… fullness of life, just like when she was still studying, non-stop filling in the book memorization. If it was an invitation from Lanna herself, there would be even less reason to refuse. Although this woman behaves strangely, leaps in thinking and odd logic, but working with her is counted as a refreshing thing.
Sometimes Mo ShiXin associated her with another legendary Jewish mathematician, Paul Erdos. Like Lanna, this mathematician was an eccentric who would often run into the homes of other mathematicians without warning to discuss their problems, even if they didn’t know him at all. This led to the completion of nearly five hundred co-authored papers in his lifetime, many of which were co-authored by mathematicians he had personally discovered and promoted.
After reading this man’s biography as a child, Mo Shixin used to regard him as an idol whose status was above Einstein and Gauss. Lanna, on the other hand, was simply a replica of this man in the present world, with that self-effacing personality and love for her career. She didn’t know if her childhood admiration for Paul still existed, but assuming it did, then it must have transferred to Lanna now as well.
“How come? My good girl, I just want …… to take you on an expedition.” Lanna said while using her fingers to gently pick up the chin of Mo ShiXin.
“Expedition?” Mo ShiXin obediently lifted her head to look at Lanna.
“Yes, help me to get some instruments, but also to take a few pictures, you know I talk super bad selfies, so you should go now to change a set of thicker clothes, you can’t be lightly dressed to go up the mountain.”
Lanna’s expedition can basically be interpreted as an excursion. This woman just had a delivery two months ago, it is reasonable to say that is still in the recovery period, but for Lanna, enjoying the pleasure of visiting the beautiful scenery even more important than her body, now that they are in Iceland, very cold place.
After she said so, Mo ShiXin realized that she was only wearing her underwear, she immediately turned red and pushed Lanna out of the door. Then, she held the door and froze for a while, feeling that her personality seemed to have changed a lot compared to when she first left her father to study under Lanna, which if it was in the past, she would never have cared about these things.
After ten minutes, Mo ShiXin appeared at the door wearing a full set of cold-proof clothes. Lanna seemed to have been waiting for a long time, and kept pounding the wall with her fists and tapping the carpet with the soles of her feet.
Seeing Mo ShiXin come out, Lanna, in her maniacal and hyperactive nature, walked up and hugged her, lifted her up, and then put her down again, as if she was teasing her pet.
“Gee, it’s so cute, this is the first time you’ve worn this cold suit, right?”
Mo ShiXin nodded slightly, then shook her head again, agreeing with half of Lanna’s statement and opposing half of it.
Honestly, she personally did not like this cold suit, and even felt some shame, from her childhood education, pink is considered a decadent, and weak color.
All the people involved in the project were given a custom cold suit, and originally she was going to choose the most common red, because it was conspicuous and easy to be found by the rescue workers if anything happened. But Lanna took the liberty of changing the RGB parameters of her jacket down, and it turned out to be pink, of which the Jewish woman was proud, saying loudly that it was only like a girl. In Dunkeld’s class, there were many mischievous instructors, but only Lanna made her students look different, even though Mo ShiXin was not the most talented one.
Words are a wonderful thing, sometimes two words that are completely opposite are used to describe the same thing, and Iceland is one of those contradictory existences. Iceland actually has another, lesser-known name — the Fire Island of the Polar Circle.
This name is derived from the extraordinary number of volcanoes in Iceland, where there are nearly 300 volcanoes, about one-sixth of which were once active, but most of them became dormant after the dramatic environmental changes of the last century.
What is surprising is that, while the world is suffering from dramatic climate change due to rising sea levels, only this place basically retains its original climate characteristics, as if isolated from the world in general. In the past, when the European princes and nobles were fighting in the land of Europe, only this place was never involved in their wars.
“This is truly a blessed land.”
Lanna exclaimed so when she first set foot here. Although Mo ShiXin felt that this view was very narrow-minded, if it wasn’t for the barrenness of this place, which made it difficult to survive, how could Iceland manage to be on its own?
The destination of this expedition was the Vatna Glacier, and they drove forward in the light-floating buggy.
This is probably the most beautiful glacier in existence. Of the three major glaciers in the world, the Glenlin Glacier and the Antarctic Glacier have both disappeared. Lanna has also come here several times, each time she came, she actually did not do anything, purely playing around, and then record the data all from the satellite without changing the copy on the hand in, there are several times, Mo ShiXin see that the powerful Herman standing aside to Lanna frown, and then helplessly shake his head.
Gradually, the white and solemn colors of the distant Vatna glacier could be seen. The glacier stretches out from the green and brown mountain and down the mountain, forming a unique tongue of ice. It is said that these were named when Iceland was still inhabited.
Lanna turned up the horsepower to the maximum, and the light-floating buggy whistled past with the sharp sound of the light-pressure engine, leaving a neat straight line on the smooth and neat glacier. If not for the mature light levitation technology and excellent safety system, with this posture and momentum of Lanna’s driving, it would be hard for them not to get shipwrecked in this rugged and difficult territory.
Since the maturity of the light levitation, in the traffic of the polar region have chosen the light levitation class tools. The high temperature emitted by light levitation can leave a conspicuous trail on the polar ice, and there is no tire freezing or similar problems.
They are riding in this light floating buggy, the product of the GST Group’s Research and Development Department. Although the design looks a bit odd and unattractive, like a square matchbox, but it is the highest masterpiece of practicality.
The design of the rectangular body is the characteristics of light levitation to the fullest, all five sides of the car are equipped with high-performance light pressure lamp, in addition to the bottom side, the other four sides have distance sensor, once about to hit something, it will activate the light pressure lamp on that side to avoid the impact.
In certain rugged places, because of the sensitivity of the rangefinder, the car will unconsciously take a Z-shaped route. So this kind of car among the researchers and have a bumper car nickname. The only drawback of this car is the energy consumption is slightly high, if not Lanna under the banner of observation to excursions, they are not qualified to drive.
Lanna drove the bumper car rampage for about half an hour, and now all that could be seen was the faintly blue white of the glacier. In fact, the old woman did nothing but step on the gas, the steering wheel was like a roller coaster handrail for her, she was just like a debauched young man that screamed ‘yo-ho! ‘Yeah! The first thing she did was scream and howl like a fool.
Finally, they stopped in front of a cave, Lanna excitedly rolled out of the car, and Mo ShiXin wanted to quickly follow. Mo ShiXin, however, was weak and could only slump in her seat, still nauseated by the brain pulp thrown away by the floating trajectory. After a while, she got out of the car breathlessly and then reached out to unload the measuring instruments on the back seat of the car.
But she did not expect that when she reached out to only find that there is no measuring instruments, but rather the grill, next to some primitive fuel and frozen meat …… seems her teacher is already not even willing to do a little superficial work.
She couldn’t help but hold her forehead and shake her head.
Carrying the grill, carrying a large bag of materials, she followed Lanna into the cave with a twist.
When she entered the cave, the wind outside immediately decreased, while the unique sound of the cave came to her ears. In the cave, all sounds are amplified and become incomparably dull. Whether it was the wind crashing back and forth between the icicles, the dark current gurgling through, or the sound of her footsteps.
Raising her head, she found that the pure, clear blue-black ice above her head was reflecting a wonderful light, as if a universe lurked in these ten thousand years of ice, absorbing the faint light outside, but harboring thousands of stars.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”
As she gazed at the imaginary starry sky above her head, she unknowingly found herself walking in front of her teacher. And the teacher was also looking up longingly at that moment as if intoxicated by this starry sky.
“Actually, HeSheng used to like this place.”
“You and my father came here together?”
“Yes.”
Lanna did not lower her head, but remained looking up at the sky.
“We used to come together for geological expedition subjects when we were in college, and we even camped here for two days.”
Here she paused slightly, then put her head down.
“Ah, but at that time my future husband also came so, don’t assume any Romantic plot oh.”
“I’m not imagining anything either.”
“Hey, yeah, who knows what goes on in your head every day, other instructors tell me, ‘Lanna, that student of yours is always putting on a show, she never smiles,’ and I think that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.”
“There’s nothing to be happy about,”
Mo ShiXin said, setting the grill down from her shoulder and slamming it headfirst onto the solid ice, tossing the bag back in front of the teacher.
“So what are we going to do next, grill or range?”
“Those don’t matter.”
“Doesn’t matter?”
Mo Shixin was slightly surprised, she was full of thought that the teacher brought her here today, just to play.
“Then what to do? You didn’t bring any other instruments, either?”
“Hmm.”
Lanna nodded, and there seemed to be a little more seriousness in her expression.
“I want to show you something …… this curtain ‘sky dome’ is just one of them.”
Raising his head, Mo Shixin expected that this ‘Vault of Heaven’ probably refers to this cave as the starry universe of icebergs.
“This name was given by your father.”
“Well, this is indeed his style.”
“Child, your father was a very great man, although sometimes he seemed too radical.”
Mo ShiXin froze, she thought for a while, thinking that the teacher’s ‘radical’ was used strangely, and the only thing her own father had done that was radical was probably the public criticism of the mining of Antarctic mineral ice.
“I remember that you are opposed to the mining of Antarctic mineral ice, teacher.”
“I remember teaching you, right, that many things cannot be seen in the light of the moment. ‘Foresight’, the future of such things is to ‘do well with what is at hand, and then fantasize about what is to come’ …… we should look at the long term, decades or even centuries, for mining energy, we can not simply say this thing is good or bad, this is too subjective, anything can be dialectical to see, the plague certainly brought death, but energy also brings us life.”
Speaking of which, Lanna stood up from the large ice block she was sitting on, holding her knees, and suddenly walked in a direction. Mo ShiXin did not dare to slow down, and hurriedly followed.
“Do you mean that those are necessary sacrifices?”
“No, my child, I do not think that is a sacrifice, we, nature, and life is essentially the same, except that we have evolved a more complex nervous system, can express our emotions, our joy and sorrow is more intense, so it seems to be more advanced ……”
Lanna walked while pointing to the small pool of water in the cave around her.
“The departure of a person, and the death of a fish in this pool of water is no different, it’s cruel, but this cruelty only we can experience, sometimes I wonder if emotions are something superfluous, emotions can make us irrational. Maybe survival only requires emotion, but what is needed to continue …… is sanity.”
This rhetoric sounds somewhat contrary to the Bible, although Lanna is considered an atheist, she enjoys reading the Bible, at least she always respects the culture and views of her people’s traditions. Mo ShiXin just listened quietly, she should be quiet when the teacher is talking, this is what her father taught her.
“Even if people disappear, the universe still exists. My family has always been ostracized, and to this day there are still intransigent anti-Semites who are hostile to me and my people, and I have tried since I was a child to change all that, but today I still haven’t. Think about it, Einstein, Rockefeller, Marx, Picasso, these were all great Jews and although I am highly admired, like my predecessors before me, I have not been able to change my environment …… What is the proverb of your people? ‘If you are poor, you will be alone, but if you’re rich, you will help the world’, I wanted to change the environment, but in the end, I was changed by the environment.” Lanna showed a somewhat helpless look, “Your father does not understand this, or just does not want to understand, he is too extreme, the nature of human society is to live in groups, I think not only humans, this universe is also, no one can cut off the connection between the universe. Although we have not yet had contact with any life, but that is only because we are too small, we should not go to harsh contact, what should come sooner or later will come …… like I said, ‘do well with what is at hand, and then fantasize about what is to come’, recognize that now what humanity needed, I think what humanity needs is not a thinking community, but an improvement in the social order.”
“So why don’t you choose to fight back? Unite with other scientists to oppose this ridiculous plan?”
“We are human beings, not mere creatures, we have our own unique social rules and class order.”
“I see, the downfall is the same as my father’s, right?”
“Your father was a great man.”
“I think he was stupid and weak because he couldn’t do anything to change reality, that’s the truest thought in my heart, he couldn’t change himself or his circumstances.”
“If it were you, what would you do? Run away from GST? Or choose to rebel against authority?” Lanna said this with an expression of hopelessness.
“I wouldn’t dare to say.”
Mo ShiXin bit her lower lip and lowered her head.
“ShiXin, remember what I said, human life is not noble, what is noble is the mission to be accomplished through life, for the right path, I am willing to dedicate everything, including my own life, many people in GST are like me, I can vouch for it with my dignity.”
Although Mo ShiXin was not smart, she heard the teacher’s meaning beyond her words, and her heart was filled with suspicion and fear, was Lanna Ginsberg, the woman who was in charge of the security of the entire science team, planning some ulterior conspiracy, but why would she do this with her, and she already knew about her family affairs.
“Mother, I don’t want to be like my father, even if I give my life, I will change the reality of the moment,” Mo ShiXin tried her best to hide her emotions, and had to release some signals, she was trying to test the woman’s mind, but compared to Lanna, Mo ShiXin still seemed childish.
“Don’t worry, my child,” said Lanna, reaching out and gently caressing ShiXin’s face, “you’ll take care of everything.”
A short time later, they stopped at the gaping hole where the cave opened up. There, a narrow lake could be seen, with large ice floes scattered crowdedly on it, as if a whole block had been frozen on due to overcrowding. Although the color is clear and pure, but it does not make people’s hearts flutter. The same thing can be seen in videos and photos, but Mo ShiXin probably knows why the teacher brought her here.
“I just wanted to bring you here to see it.”
She paused.
“One last look, Lake Jegusharon.”
Lake Jegusharon, Lake Jegusharon, the once largest lake in Iceland, has shrunk to such an extent that pumping operations are going very slowly due to the extreme conditions, but this lake will always be drained, there will be no more ice floes there, there will be no more fish, there will only be complicated cables and neat enclosures left, and later people will never see Lake Jegusharon again.
Real unnecessary sentimentals, but she suddenly felt her teacher was sad. Obviously know the importance of reason, but still, kept the emotions and tangled contradictions. But she respects her teacher, and so she stayed where she was, quietly looking at the sky, watching the sun shine on the piece of the lake at different angles, different colors, until it completely set.
It was late, the teacher and student were ready to return, before getting into the car, Lanna suddenly turned around, she reached out her hand to hand a small chip in front of Mo ShiXin, at this time Mo ShiXin had a premonition of what that chip engraved with the GST logo is, it is the lifeblood of the entire scientific research team — “navigator key”.
Due to years of climate change, the sea near Iceland has a large number of giant ice floes, they freeze quickly, so the research team needs a specially designed icebreaker to open the way, the rest of the research vessels to follow behind, in order to prevent the ice from breaking and then freezing quickly, the research vessels behind the icebreaker are following at full speed, so the route of the navigator is crucial, once there is a deviation, there will be an unimaginable accident.
“Teacher ……” Mo ShiXin can not believe what she saw. The key to the lives of thousands of people was right in front of her own eyes, and she could easily end this ridiculous plan if she lifted a finger.
Of course, she understood the cost and consequences.
Thinking of this, Mo ShiXin suddenly felt that the chip in her teacher’s hand was very blinding, and she averted her eyes in panic.
She didn’t dare to make a choice, didn’t dare to face the darkness deep inside herself. Mo ShiXin also did not know what kind of judgment she would make when faced with the contradiction between reason and emotion.
After a long silence, she gritted her teeth and raised her hand, but then withdrew it.
“When I was young, someone also gave me such an opportunity.” Faced with such a move from Mo ShiXin, Lanna did not have the slightest intention of retracting her hand.
“…… Is this the only way?”
“It’s up to you to judge.” Lanna’s voice doesn’t show any hint of nervousness, with a calm face, and exudes a kind of stoic attitude, “I think it is ……”
Lanna did not even finish her words, Mo ShiXin grabbed the key away and then clutched it tightly in her hand, she was silent for a few seconds, then walked in front of Lanna and grabbed her hand.
“Teacher, let’s go on the road together,” Mo ShiXin said with a smile.
Lanna looked at Mo ShiXin and did not answer, the outline of Mo ShiXin’s future appeared in her heart, which was an angel and a devil.
