[TL/N: Wicker Man is a giant effigy that is used by Celts for human sacrifices. Its size is probably around 60 feet, and can fit a thousand people (think of it as a Trojan horse, but it’s used to burn people inside. Although it’s just my assumption). In this scene, it only shows a doll.]

“Hey… what is this? It’s really cool.”

I pointed to a huge, ugly, skull-shaped pot filled with black liquid, which was placed in the middle of the table with the dishes I had requested.

“Fufu~, today’s the day when evil spirits abound. It is a witch pot worthy of welcoming them!.”

“Neat! I’ll help out when the unruly evil spirits come. I’m surprised you found this weird pot….”

“It was about 3,000 yen on Ama***.”

“That’s cheaper than I expected!! Well, I guess there’s everything on Ama***… Is that a bone?”

“Wait, is that a bone of a stray dog?”

“Of course not, you should try it. It was totally a dessert that looks like a bone..”

“Forget about that one… There was actually a Halloween version of the Witch of Hades, but my sister hid it from me… I can’t wear a costume like that…”

“Ehh~, as a witch, that’s not good enough! It’s Halloween!”

I was thinking that her outfit earlier was indeed a bad idea, and I wondered if Beni was also very embarrassed or her face was red. However, the Witch of Hades Halloween version looks like she came from a social game.

“Oh, by the way, I heard Shu was coming over today, is it okay if I eat first?”

“Yeah. She said she would come over after she finished her club activities, so I’ll just heat up some food for her.”

“You didn’t invite Okita?”

“Yeah, I’m not comfortable inviting men other than Shinya to my room… Anyways, I think you forgot one more thing…”

“Eh, what is it…?”

“Halloween is all about this, right? Trick or treat. If you don’t give me sweets, I’ll do mischief to you.”

Beni, wearing cat ears and bashful, was so cute that… I immediately responded.

“Mischief, please!”

“Eh! You brought snacks, right?. Give them to me.”

“No, I’m asking you to be naughty!”

“This infinite loop is scary! You’re a little weird today, seriously… Hand over your phone.”

It’s true that Beni’s cat ears are too cute and maybe a little funny today. But, well, it can’t be helped, it’s Halloween… and I, the Knight of the Black Dragon, may be possessed by an evil spirit.

I handed the phone to Beni with a disappointed look on her face and she sat down next to me. Ooooh, I wonder if it is the smell of her body soap, it smells as good as ever. What will happen now? “What, do you ever take spiritual pictures?”

Beni took two shots on my phone’s camera. The picture was Beni wearing her cat ears with a cute smile on her face and then there’s me, with a dopey look on my face. Beni looked at the picture and happily set the picture as a default wallpaper screen and handed the phone back to me.

“I guess the content of the mischief went something like this….. Well if you don’t like it, you can always change the wallpaper, but I’d be happy if you’d leave it as it is for today.”

“What kind of prank is that? You’re too cute. Don’t worry, I won’t change it forever.”

“Forever? I wish you would say something that I wouldn’t change in my next life.”

I heard a chime when I was wondering if there would be a smartphone in the afterlife. Damn it interrupted me and Beni’s alone time together…

“Shinya, I’m sorry, but could you please go pick up Shu? I’ll heat up some food for her. She was really hyped to surprise you, so watch out.”

“Roger, I wonder what kind of costume she is wearing….?”

I went to the front door to pick up Shu with a grin on my face, thinking that our conversation was a bit like a couples. When I opened the door, there stood a suspicious figure dressed as a witch with a red bat in her right hand and a pumpkin head. Eh, this kid came all the way here dressed like this? She wasn’t reported to the police?

“You’re the Knight of the Black Dragon…! I can’t believe you’re picking me up at the door! Doing the boyfriend thing with my sister! Death or Curse. You can pick either one.”

“Why is it death or curse? Isn’t it a trick or treat?!”

“By the way, Death will get slaughtered by this “Magic Wand of Absolute Crimson, and Curse is…”

Shu took a pause and removed the pumpkin head. Then Shu’s face appears, wearing very realistic zombie makeup on her originally pretty face. Whoooaaaaaa, the scars and stuff are soooo realistic! Eyeballs are white, too. This is already a special makeup.

“By the curse of the Witch of Hades, you will become an inhabitant of Hell by being bitten by her genus!! You must give up!.”

“Gyaaaaaaa~”

Shu in her zombie makeup made me overwhelmed and pushed me in the doorway. She was trying to bite my neck. What kind of zombie movie is this?! As I quickly try to push her away, I notice that my right hand is touching something soft. This is probably… a boo-…

“Oi, Shinya… Just what do you think you’re doing?”

“Beni-oneesama! Now I’m going to turn him into your slave!”

Shu is making some kind of noise, but I can’t hear her. Beni’s cold gaze caught my right hand, and on that right hand was…

“Heh, even though you like ‘big-br3@sted high school girls’…”

I think that’s the same DVD I have!!!! Damn it! I wonder if I will be teased by Beni for the rest of my life… And so the Halloween party continued, including Shu. But my right hand felt soft and satisfied.
